About the Event

This year’s AGM and Conference mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of UECBV. The conference focuses on two major themes which will dominate the landscape of the meat industry for the years to come; Sustainable Nutrition and Food Security. Delegates will hear presentations from an excellent panel of experts in the wonderful surroundings of the Aviva Stadium in the centre of Dublin. The Gala dinner, to be held in the same  venue, will give attendees the opportunity to meet with friends and colleagues from across the European meat processing sector, while enjoying the highest quality of Irish food produce and hospitality.

Founded in 1952, the European Livestock and Meat Trades Union (UECBV) is the voice of national federations representing the meat industry (slaughterhouses, cutting plants and meat preparation plants), meat traders (beef, horse meat, sheep meat, pig meat),  livestock markets and livestock traders (cattle, horses, sheep, pigs).
